Frequently Asked Questions about the Nyack Street Fairs

The Nyack Street Fairs will take place on the following dates in 2025:

September 7

October 12.

All street fairs are from 10AM-6PM.  

You'll see exhibitors of all kinds: clothes, furnishings, handmade goods, jewelry, home decor, art, and more.  The street fairs also feature an array of tasty treats, often including: sausage and peppers, pizza, arepas, crepes, ethnic foods, ice cream, and more.  And most street fairs feature live music either at a bandstand or throughout the locations.  

The Nyack Street Fairs are also great ways to explore the shops, boutiques, and restaurants of Downtown Nyack, which are almost all open during the fair.  Indeed, most of the restaurants will expand seating into the street, allowing you to dine and drink comfortably al fresco!

The Street Fairs are held on the downtown streets of the Village of Nyack, which is located about a mile from the New York State Thruway exit on the west side of the Mario Cuomo (aka Tappan Zee) Bridge. For GPS purposes, put in the location 9 North Broadway, Nyack. That's the center of the downtown center of the Village. 

Because the Nyack Street Fairs close down the downtown streets of Nyack, you will need to park in the outlying streets.  Essentially, the street fairs close down the following streets:

* North Broadway from First Street to Main Street.

* South Broadway from Main Street to Cedar Hill Avenue.

* Main Street from Broadway to Franklin.

The street fairs also usually close down the parking lot next to the Fresh Market on Artopee Way.  

To find other available parking, you might find the "Nyack Parking Map" helpful. The map identifies lots and streets that are open for parking.   If you look at the map, all the lots other than Lot #4 (the "Fresh Market Lot") are open for parking during the street fairs, and all the streets other than Main and Broadway (as indicated above) are available.

No.  The Nyack Street Fairs are always on Sundays, and parking on Sundays is always free in Nyack.  

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the Nyack Street Fairs.
